Saturday Seven: Fall Favorites

I didn't do Friday Fragments yesterday for a number of reasons. I didn't feel like it. I was uninspired and I hadn't kept track of the best blog posts I read this week. I was just..meh. I didn't feel as if I had anything worth contributing to the blogosphere yesterday.

1. Cooler weather that requires a jacket in the mornings. Of course my kids are hell bent on wearing shorts despite it being 49 when they head out to school.

2. Sleeping with the windows open.

3. Crockpot dinners. I LOVE soups and stews and chili. This week I made chicken enchilada soup inspired by Delilah's weekly menu. My super picky, resistant to trying new things child LOVED it.

I only wish my crockpot was this cute!

4. MY BIRTHDAY is in the fall...nine more shopping days!!

5. Drastically lower utility bills! Hello open windows!

6. Earlier bedtimes for the kids=more ME time.

7. Pumpkin Patch Pilgrimages.

What do you love about fall?

I love fall too but I hate winter (especially now that I'm in NJ - it's cold!). Love the foliage. Love soups and stews too but need to get some recipes!

Have a great weekend!

I was about to get a major case of the jealousies when I saw that crockpot. :)

I love to run at lunchtime without getting heatstroke. I hate running first thing in the morning. Ellen

I love the cool breezes and the way the air smells. I love putting up the graveyard for Halloween and taking pictures of the boys in the pumpkin patch.

I'm not a fan of winter either. It lasts too long!

Pumpkin patch trips are the best aren't they? I love the way the air smells too!

SO fun!!! I adore fall. Hayrides, apple cider donuts, crunchy leaves under your feet. Amazing. Totally ready for it!
