365 Days of Kindness

By now everyone has heard about 26 Acts of Kindness.

I am taking it to the next level.

365 days of kindness.

A random act of kindness every single day.

It doesn't have to be huge or cost money. It doesn't require excessive planning. It doesn't require acknowledgement or fanfare. It just takes one simple gesture or perhaps some kind words.

I look for opportunities in my life to do something kind.

I've offered to help someone lift ginormous case of water bottles into their cart at Costco.

I insist that someone to go ahead of me in  the check out line at least once a week.

I let people go ahead of me in the school parking lot.

I pick up someone else's trash.

I don't have to instagram it or tweet it or update my status about it.

I just have to do something kind every single day whether people notice it or not.

I invite each and every one of you to join me.

Very nice. And I agree- do we really have to tell people we're doing the kindness via a status? Just do it. Seems to defeat the purpose if you ask me.

I noticed that people here are very, very 'cold-ish' until I speak to them in some way. Once I break the ice they are extremely warm, friendly and helpful. People don't just smile for the heck of it. It's weird.

Great idea! I'm going to give it a go too. If I don't go out of the house I don't have to do something for my family though do I??? ;P

This is an awesome idea. We don't do enough kind acts. I am on board with this one as well.

Fantastic! And you are so right, kindness does not necessary to be a grand gesture that is posted to Twitter or Facebook. Kindness is simply making a difference in someone else's day. Good for you!

I try to do little things that might make a difference. Even when people are ungrateful. And they ARE ungrateful. LOL I know, that's not why we do it. :)

I'm on it and I will add a "smile". Look someone in the eye and smile everyday like the cashier or mailwoman, etc. I love this, Robbie!

I bet you do more than one everyday. If you really pay attention. I bet it's way more than one.
