Twister is spread out on the living room floor.
A crate full of match box cars are dumped in front of the couch. StinkBug has started to sort them by color.
It's 5:26 pm and two of my three kids are still in their pajamas-as am I.
After five loads of laundry I stopped counting.
Four suitcases are partially packed for our Taho trip later this week.
It's too hot to go outside and I'm wishing I'd gone walking earlier.
This afternoon I declared "we're going to bed early tonight!"
The nine year old daughter discreetly pointed out "whenever you say that we go to bed at 10 or 10:30. Is that your definition of early?"
Lazy summer Sundays.

I kinda wish that was what my summer days were like.
It's a rare we have a day like that around here but I do love them.
