It's MY BIRTHDAY!!

Yesterday was MY BIRTHDAY and I took the day off! I didn't work & I got my hair did. I watched Big Yankee and the kids bowling and I even took a birthday nap. I did as little as possible and when anyone asked anything of me I whined "But it's MY BIRTHDAY!"  It was fantastically fabulous and I highly recommend playing the birthday card as frequently as possible on your special day.

A few weeks ago I started working on my birthday bucket list with the intention of sharing it here on my birthday. That didn't happen for a boatload of reasons including the face that I'm seriously lacking in the bucket list idea department.

This is where you come in. I am terrified of heights and short on cash so bungee jumping and world travel won't make the cut. Any other ideas will be seriously considered. So what should I do this year?

Happy birthday, Robbie! Do you have a passport? Getting one for each family member is a great start to a full bucket.

My sister turned 35 last week and you know what she did?? She jumped out of a plane! She's nuts. She loved it, though, and has a great video of it that her boyfriend paid to have made.
Not exactly my thing! My birthday wishes are always about visiting the west coast, eating some cake, and seeing more moose.

OMG--I could NEVER do that...the whole fear of heights kinda limits me. What amazing memories for her though! Also eating cake is always good!

Happy birthday, Robbie! Sounds like you had a great day. Maybe you could try to learn something you've always wanted to learn. Like a foreign language, knitting, cooking, singing or something like that. And free? That's what YouTube's for!!!

Thanks! Great idea as I love learning!!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MY FRIEND!!!!

Sounds like you had a good day! I definitely milk my special day too. :D

Hmmmmmm....bucket list stuff huh? Well...how about starting off slow and "easy" like treating yourself to a little me time once a week/month even if it's a little afternoon nap or trip to the store by yourself. Little rejuvenating time. Even better...splurge on your favourite magazine and read it by yourself in a coffee store!!! Can you tell what I like??? Haahaaa!

Now go have some cake!!! <3

Happy Birthday!!

I have travel as a main thing on my bucket list. That, and spending time alone here and there!! :) Hope you come up with a great list!

Spending time alone, reading a magazine and a nap are just my speed! Thanks for the great ideas ladies!

Happy Birthday! I threw a big party for myself this birthday with drinks, food, friends in Maine. I highly encourage it. As to what to do this year....That's a tough one, but it should challenge you, make you feel braver and make you feel happier. I have no idea what that looks like for you, but I have my own idea for me... :)

Oh sheesh the bucket list is HARD! So scuba diving is totally worth it but super expensive unless you live near a great place to do so...I used to skydive but don't want to any longer...
I wrote a post about my bucket list recently and decided I mostly want to live to be old. Lame, I know. Or not. But in the meantime, get a massage, help a stranger for no reason, write a book, have somebody famous tweet you, but really, a bucket list is just living the life you were meant to. It seems to me you're doing that already. Happy birthday.

Happy belated birthday and was so happy to see you stop by my blog again! Hmmm, bucket lists, not my department either. How about not waiting for your next birthday to treat yourself? I know, easier said than done. I'd love to hear about a non-birthday related mommy fun day.

Happy Birthday! Don't jump, we're getting on in our years and we could have a hear attack (that's my motto). Although cake also gives heart attacks...
