I finally bought myself a big girl camera just before Christmas and with everything that was happening I haven't had much time to play with it. Yesterday we finally got a dusting of snow so I snapped some pictures of Peanut & StinkBug in the backyard.

Wonderful. Congrats on the big girl camera! And photography is the only thing I actually like about winter, to be honest.
Thanks I am VERY excited about my camera---now I just need to learn how to use it. I probably should add a disclaimer to this post since I didn't actually go outside to take the...just stood in the doorway.

My kids are teenagers now and are so over having their pics taken, lol.

I love taking photographs! I'm very happy digital cameras were created - allowing me to save so many more pictures than I would ever have been able to develop the old fashioned way! My children even love watching dvds of the photos set to music :) A great treat as they grow - to remember the years. Rhondda #SITSBlogging

Robbie, congratulations on the new camera! I remember when I purchased my 'big girl' DSLR how excited I felt. There was the moment of unwrapping of course. And the light sweeping of my hand. Kind of surreal but heck, we deserve it! :)
