I woke up late this morning. It was picture day at the middle school and I had already screwed up more than a few times this week. Stinkbug informed me it was picture day at the elementary school on Wednesday. In the pick-up lane. After School. Big Yankee had gifted me with a sleep in morning so this was the first time I had laid eyes on my kid for the day. I had promised to curl Peanut's hair this morning. Clearly I forgot how long and thick it is. Two hours later I dropped her off at school late...with beautiful curls and mumbling "she had an appointment" to the scowling attendance secretary.
I desperately need an easy button and thanks to the amazing Alison who gave birth to twins 9 days ago I found it with these questions. Here's hoping her sweet little ones get to go home soon.

I am 5'5 (rounded up) and I am taller than my 9 year old but fear I will be shorter by the time he is 11.
I just saw last week that Gone Girl is going to be a movie so I decided to go ahead and read the book. Well I'm like #257 on the waiting list for it at the library. I'm not kidding. :-(
