Show Me the Money

I love it when people throw money at me. It's even better when Stasha gives me money AND asks me to make a list. #twobirdsonestone

You should really check out The good life and link up for Monday Listicles. You'll be glad you did!

Here's how I'd spend my wad of cashola:

1. Recliner
My mom is on oxygen at night and because of that and other health issues she can't sleep in a bed. They are planning a visit here in August and I want her to be comfortable. My parents have done so much for me and our family especially these last 2 years the least I can do is offer her a good night of sleep.

2. Personal Training sessions
I've started walking again and am trying to get back on the healthy and fit bandwagon but I need someone to kick my ass into high gear.

3. Beauty tune-up
I am in desperate need of a cut and color (it's been over 6 months) and while I'm there I might as well get a pedicure and eyebrow waxing.

4. Laptops...at least 2 so I wouldn't have to share mine with the entire family. I'm going to pretend like  I find an amazing deal where it's buy one get one free and they are fantastic top of the line with all the bells and whistles.

5. Family photo session
We haven't had family pics in nearly 5 years. Needless to say, we've ll changed quite a bit. I want some outdoorsy, fun pictures.

6.Cute coordinated but not matchy matchy outfits for my family of 5 for the above mentioned photo session.

7. Comfortable shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and multiple ankle related issues so I NEED good shoes. I've heard rave reviews about Dansko so I'd like to give them a whirl.

8. Big Yankee wants a tv in our bedroom again so I'll indulge him.

9. School/fall clothes for the kiddos. I know its nearly 3 months away but I'm always shocked how much $$ I have to spend so they don't look like hobos.

10. Slippers for me because I have none and it creeps me out to be shoe-less. As in I get out of the shower and lace up my sneakers and put on my one pair of sandals instantly.

So sorry about the plantar fasciitis. I struggled with that a few years ago. Make sure you stretch out that foot first thing every morning.

I love love love that you want to buy your mom a recliner. I wish I could afford to donate to the fund. I'll give you my pretend $1,000 though!

It creeps you out to be shoeless?

We haven't had family photos is forever either. Mostly because my dumb kids would never participate!

I would love to do your photos. For free. Then you can spend the $1000 on gas to come to WA :)

Love the lists. Especially the family photo session. I have NEVER ever had one!

I would love a family photo too only I would probably use up the $1000 on the beauty tune-up. LOL!

You are a thoughtful daughter to think about your mom's comfort. :)

It has gotten better but I tend to have flare ups. I know I should stretch more I'm just in too much of a hurry.

After living apart for so long and having so few pics of hubs these past 18 months it is something that is really important to me.

Thanks..I'm hoping to use real $ and get real pics taken.

I CANNOT stand to be barefoot! It's only been in the last 2 yrs that I have tolerated flip flops.

Not counting on my kids to be cooperative with family pics but maybe bribery will work.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE that. The pics you take are exactly the style/feel I want. Now that we moved we are a bit closer to WA.

You MUST get some family pics taken...even if you just grab a friend, a camera and head to the park.

aww thanks...yeah I don't know if I can get my beauty tune up for a reasonable price but I'm gonna live in fantasy land.
