Fabulous Me

Mrs M from The Bonny Bard suggest a most fantasticle Monday listicle topic: Ten Reasons I am Great.

1. I am an excellent loser of important things. Need to misplace your garage door opener/cell phone/house keys/important paperwork/debit card? I am your go to gal!

2. I am Queen Procrastinator. I can put even mundane, pointless tasks off to the very last minute. I actually exert more energy putting things off than it would take to do the task.

3. I am proficient at over extending myself.

4. I have a natural talent for wine consumption-as long as it's not red I can consume it in excess.

5. I exhibit advanced skills in batter licking. Brownie batter is my specialty.

6. I can get lost with no effort whatsoever. Once I was on my way to Fayetteville Arkansas and ended up in the vicinity of Joplin Missouri. Another time I picked up my sister at the airport and we were suppose to head toward Vegas. We ended up in LA. Just. Like. That.

7. I have a blog and awesome people have blogs. So I am an awesome person with an awesome blog.

8. I'm a smart ass. Clearly this is much better than being a dumb ass.

9. I always let my kids get out the pladydough and paint and build pillow forts.

10. I make at least one feeble attempt per year to quit drinking my beloved coke.

LOL!! I am the Queen of getting lost. I was on a business trip and was on my way to Maryland from Wilmington, DE. Should have been in Pennsylvania. I was truly ready to cry. Turns out I was on the wrong Market Street. The GPS has been the greatest invention for me. And sometimes it gives me breadcrumbs and a dot and I am lost.

I am a smart a$$ that constantly over extends myself. Maybe that means I'm really a dumb a$$?!?!

I was with you up until I got to the pillow forts. I hate forts. With a passion. I don't care if they are just pillows. It's the junk that must be brought TO the fort to make it a fort worth spending time in.
Other than that, good list. I almost got ruffled by the Joplin/Fayetteville fiasco. Until I remembered that it's not hard to do if you are talking to a passenger. You were so into a conversation that you missed a turn-off or something, right?

I'm with you on the wine. I'm not much of a red wine drinker. But I think I fall under the dumb rather than smart ass category.

You are great! With those wine and batter skills, I think you're amazing, and the yearly attempt to quit coke just puts you over the top! :)

Whew--your adventure makes me feel better. Hubs keeps threatening to get me GPS but I am also techno challenged & would find a way to screw that up.

hello there!

hahah! Maybe there is a link between smart assery and overextension?

I'm not a fan of red wine either! And I hate play-doh, want to come supervise my kids while they play with it?!

I've tried red wine every few years and I still don't like it.

Sadly I was traveling solo when I ended up near Joplin. This is pre cell phone era & I was traveling at night so I had to look for well lit rest areas with pay phones. #good times.

I'll forgive you for not liking pillow forts b/c I am that kind of person :)

Thank you for recognizing my greatness :)

You are fabulous too!

My extensive research leads me to believe that there is a distinct link to procrastinator and awesome people.

I LIVE for playdough!! Puzzles and board games not so much :)

What do you say we go get lost together?

Robbie K said...

Just one more reason for me to like you even more.

I am on my way with lots of playdough as long as i don't have to do puzzles we're good!

We'd better never take a road trip together, Robbie, or we'd be on a bridge to nowhere!!! I'd have to have a bottle of red to go with your bottle of white. Or better yet, BOTA boxes. They're so much better for travel!
