Ten Things Thankful

1. I am thankful for a husband who gets donuts every weekend...sometimes two days in a row just because the kids ask him.

2. I am thankful to be participating in #NaBloPoMo this year and finding wonderful new blogs to read & people to follow on Twitter.

3. I am thankful it was a payday week for both of us.

4. I am thankful my children have fantastic, devoted teachers.

5. I am thankful for the Coca-Cola that fuels be thru the day.

6. I am thankful my children have good friends who want to spend their Saturdays at our house.

7. I am thankful for the Working Mom's Happy Hour I planned & will be attending tomorrow.

8. I am thankful for words that help me make sense of all that swirls inside my head.

9. I am thankful for the hilarious things my children do and say each day.

10. I am thankful for a sunny day in November.

Donuts are delicious but not necessarily good for my expanding waistline!

I am in desperate need of a happy hour even if it has to happen on a Sunday afternoon!

I'd be really thankful if your husband could teach mine to go get donuts. Any chance? :)

I want a follow up post about number 7. Have you done this before? How does it work? Sounds like fun!

I'm with you on #3 and #4 - though everything that comes in on#3 is currently a bit, well, transient ($ in; $ out. Sigh. But at least it balances).

I like the idea of happy hour... I need to plan something with my girlfriends soon...

Those are all GREAT things! Your meeting sounds amazing, good on you. Moms needs a network, it's so important! And sunshine, yes! Also important and welcome :)

I have a couple of girlfriends that recently started a 'Happy Sunday' ummmm...get together. They work. I don't but they invited me anyways. :D

A sunny day makes all the difference in the world doesn't it.

Donuts...I love me some donuts but we never have them because I have zero will-power.

And I love it when my kids have friends over too...hope the trend continues!

I totally liked #8 (lol, no really don't laugh… the 'all the swirls' totally resonates and anyone who has any kind of success making sense of it has my attention (and admiration).

Robbie, there was a box of donuts sitting on the table in front of me as hubs and I waited at the car repair place for, like, TWO hours on Friday and I DIDN'T EAT ONE! Can you believe that? I kept smelling them, and then other people would come in and eat them....I truly don't know how I managed not to!

I think when you go to heaven, you get pizza and doughnuts and diet coke whenever you want them, and you don't get fat, of course, nor do you get tired of them or feel sick from overeating.
