Things I Don't Get

1. Posting song lyrics as a Bitchslap Facebook status update. If I wanted a song I would be listening to the damn radio. Doing this just screams of "I'm too pathetic and trite to share my own thoughts"

2. Those bento boxes everyone is bragging about and posting pics of sure are vibrant and nutritious now. But how about after they are mysteriously left at school day after day? How is that albacore tuna, hummus and baked pita chips, kale and eggplant salad and kiwi, carrot, prune juice and greek yogurt flaxseed smoothie looking now?

3. Stinkbug aka Kid Number Three announced "Momma, there's cat poop all over the carpet." To which I responded "That is strange considering we don't own a cat."

4. Selfies

5. Chevron anything

6. People who endlessly push their MLM schemes on Facebook--Plexus, Xyngular, Thirty One I'm looking at you!

7. Conversation hearts---blech!

Is there anything you don't get?

Hee! I love the cat one -- too funny!

The Bento boxes do make me laugh because I have a four-year-old. Should I spend $800 for her to leave her organic and healthy lunches to turn limp and moldy?
And..what was the cat poop?

Hahaha to song lyrics!!! I'm so happy the bento box lunch thing wasn't around when my boys were going to school. Ham in a bun every single day for 7 years for J2. His idea not mind.

Bento boxes drive me crazy! Way to overacheive, moms! Selfies are cool tho....sometimes, cuz we women don't put ourselves in the picture often enough.

Ha! Cat poop but no cat is killing me. Fake eyelashes are the thing I don't get. They seem to be everywhere these days and I don't really understand how anyone functions with those wacky things. Great post!

I don't understand fake eyelashes either...they HAVE to hurt when you take them off?

@Jennifer you made me re-think my view on selfies--Moms do need to be in the picture and sometimes selfies are the only way!

Diane-I ate a cheese single and an apple every day for years and years and years in elementary school. What can I say--I don't like bread.

@Galit I have NO idea where the cat comment came from :)

@Tamara I agree...it would go to waste on my kids! Someday I will tell you the story of my rotting lunch box.
