Solo parenting.
Commuter marriage.
Unemployment.
Three children.
Off the chart stress.
This has been my life for way too long.
Things are finally starting to come together.
We had an offer on our house...and while I won't truly celebrate until closing, I can breathe a little easier now.

Big Yankee will be here in 19 days and I'll have a co-pilot for the Crazy parent train.
For the first time in 18 months my husband, children and I will live in the same house. In the same state. Every single day.
Next week I have a phone interview for a job in our new state. A job that makes a difference. A job that I would love.
I'm not getting rid of any of my kidsyet but I know living under the same roof will make a world of difference for them.
The stress-o-meter is going down.
Yes, there's packing and moving and end-of year activities.
Early birthday celebrations and goodbye parties.
Plane tickets and travel arrangements to coordinate.
Heartbreaking goodbyes to family and friends.
But I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
And it's getting brighter every day.

Yay for the light getting brighter! I have some mad respect for you for the way you've dealt with all the stress. I'd be a basket case for sure! Hoping for an uneventful house closing and a smooth transition.
I could feel you taking that step back while I was reading and felt a sense of calm in you. So impressed!
Here's hoping everything goes smoothly with your house and good luck with your interview. Things are indeed getting brighter. :D

Thanks! Looking forward to moving on!
I am strangely calm about all of it right now..though it has been a roller coaster. It will get done or it won't but it's almost behind us now.
Thank you...finally feels like I can breathe now.
Thanks and I will most certainly adhere to your recommendations. That's dark chocolate in unlimited quantities right?
