Hmmmmm

It's MONDAY which means Monday Listicles!! I apologize in advance if these seem all over the place.
I've been more than a bit distracted lately. I started my new job today and it's going to fabulous once our program is up and running. But right now we are trying to piece together childcare for 3 kids in a town where I know exactly one person other than Big Yankee.

Things that make you go hmmmmm

1.  Why are pretzels packaged in bags that constantly rip, tear and are worthless?

2. Why do people park next to the shopping cart return and leave their cart in the parking space?

3. Why am I the only person able and willing to replace the toilet paper?

4. Why do people think Coke and Pepsi are interchangeable? I would rather dehydrate than drink Pepsi. When I order Coke and you say "is Pepsi ok?" don't act offended when I order water with lemon.

5. Why am I constantly misplacing my current drivers license but can always find my California license that expired in 2005?

6. Why is there ALWAYS at least 1 person in a training who asks idiotic, questions that have already been addressed?

7. Why Why WHY can't I go to the bathroom without someone desperately needing me at that exact moment?

8. Why does everyone in this house insist on going barefoot and sling shotting their socks across the room when I can barely stand to be shoeless  long enough to take a shower?

9. Why do people make grocery shopping a FAMILY AFFAIR? It makes everyone miserable. If there are 2 parents why doesn't one of them stay home with their snot nosed, tantrum throwing offspring?

10. Why is my brain in constant overdrive with a million ideas whirling around until the moment I sit down at a keyboard and then they come to a screeching halt?

Coke and Pepsi are NOT the same and I would also rather dehydrate than drink Pepsi. Blegh. I must admit, we are guilty of the family affair grocery shopping. But only because we normally shop at The Wal*Mart and the only one close to us is near Ty's karate. We all go to karate on Wednesday nights so the little kids can play in the indoor play area so we hit The Wal*Mart on the way home. But my kids don't throw tantrums in there or one of us would take them out immediately. Can't stand it when people drag crying and screaming kids through the store for 45 minutes to buy their beer and chips.

I hate the Family Affair shopping! I swear if my husband was free, he was watching the kids.

Good list! Ellen

I can't tell you how many times I have put tape on a bag of pretzels. Cause it makes me crazy when they are ripped and the pretzels get all soggy. Or at least not so crunchy. I agree with lots of those, especially the toilet paper roll.

Congrats on the new job! I am with you on all of these. When we used to have annual refresher courses at work if anyone asked anything and delayed our going home time she had to pay for a round of drinks. Cosmo times 12 is pricey. We always left on time.

I agree on the Coke vs. Pepsi thing. I really hate when you order a Coke and they fail to tell you that they are giving you a Pepsi. Do they think you won't notice? They are totally different. And Pepsi is gross.

Also...what is up with the toilet paper thing? Does no one else see it? Do they think that the new roll just belongs on the counter top? Is it really so hard to just slip the old one off and the new one on? And when I do change the roll...J complains that I've put it on wrong and the paper is going the wrong way! To which I always respond...do it yourself then!

Hmmm, personally I am a Pepsi lover..sounds like you have your hands full of and it's a good thing you do replace the toilet paper or you might have more troubles.

#7 yeah, so that. I swear I could pee in front of the Pope by now. I have forgotten what it is like to be in there alone.

Coke IS it! that's all.
