Thankful and Proud

Today is a day to honor ALL armed service veterans who have served in our military. To acknowledge their sacrifices. To recognize their contributions. They fight for our freedom and defend our nation.

I cannot listen to Proud To Be An American without crying.

I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
