Time to put on my thinking cap for this week's Listicle topic. The intelligent and amusing Kerstin wants to know what we learned this year. Here we go, in no particular order:
1. Saying goodbye sucks.
2. I LOVE making a difference and found an amazing job that affords me this opportunity.
3. It's ok to be an exercise class drop out.
4. Lightening strikes again and again.
5. Sometimes one event changes everything.
6. Marriage is harder than I ever thought possible.
7. I've reached that age and have embraced it.
8. Don't give up no matter what obstacles get in your way.
9. Some people storm into your life and make an enormous impact.
10. Blogging has saved my sanity and opened up a whole new world.

Blogging is a great outlet - I wish I had found it sooner.
I totally agree!
Intelligent and amusing? Tell me more about myself ;)
Love your list! I am *that age* as well, and what the heck are you gonna do but embrace it? I actually am way more comfortable with myself and sticking up for what I believe in than I was in my 20s... 40s rule!
Oh great list. Succinct and though provoking. Exercise class dropout...ha! I concur about blogging...makes me much happier!
No doubt about blogging saving sanity! It has saved mine too. And marriage IS hard. I haven't embraced the age thing yet. I'm still fighting it.
Hey, nothing wrong with being *that* age! I'm way up there!
You've learned a whole mess of hard lessons this year. Seems like you also learned that you are one tough cookie. Or did you already know that?
Number 7 still made me LMAO...thanks I needed that! :)
Great list! Sounds like it's been an eventful year. :)
This quick list has a lot of depth to it. Hooray for blogging! Ellen
Thank you for #8 as I needed to hear that. And 9 and 10 are so true. Great listicle!
Love this. So happy for #2! And marriage is hard work, specially if one snores a lot.
